About
Drawn from the tradition of the Ecole de Marcinelle – artists such as Franquin, Peyo and Morris – the family replicates the bold, personality-driven lettering used for screams and onomatopoeias in classic Franco-Belgian comics. Eighteen width steps progress from the narrowest to the widest proportion, available in both a clean version and a rough version that simulates ink expansion on paper. Beyond comics, the family is suited to packaging, signage, branding and poster work where a large, legible letterform with an informal character is required.
