MegaMegaTypeType
A clean geometric sans from Marcus Sterz, offered in nine weights with matching italics and a generous set of OpenType features including stylistic alternates, six figure sets and discretionary ligatures.
About
Publica Play covers nine weights from ExtraLight to Black, each with a matching italic, giving broad tonal range for text and display use. OpenType features include angular and tubular stylistic sets, unicase alternates, open and circular letter variants, rare currency symbols and six figure styles ranging from lining and oldstyle to numerators and denominators. The family sits within Facetype's wider Publica suite alongside Publica Sans, Publica Slab and Publica Soft.
Classification
Clean geometric construction with circular forms and even stroke widths typical of geometric sans-serif design. Alternate glyphs include angular and tubular stylistic sets that extend the geometric character.
