A 30-weight geometric sans originally commissioned for Abitare magazine in 2013, now also available as a variable font spanning the full 0–1000 weight axis.
About
Commissioned by RCS Rizzoli Corriere della Sera, Abitare Sans evolved from the geometric CP Company typeface into a far more text-readable design suited to the editorial demands of Abitare magazine. The family spans 15 upright and 15 italic weights on a numeric 0–1000 scale, covering text, display and UI use cases with OpenType features tailored to publishing workflows. As of 2025 the full range is available as a two-file variable font.
Classification
A geometric sans-serif with a systematic numeric weight scale (0–1000) across 15 uprights and 15 italics, rooted in the geometric CP Company structure but refined for extended text readability in magazine publishing.
