A humanist sans with calligraphic undertones, available in six weights with italics and extensive OpenType features across 208 Latin-script languages.
About
Designed by Fabio Haag with Henrique Beier, Lembra takes its name from the Portuguese word for 'remember' and introduces calligraphic pen traces into an otherwise clean sans-serif structure. This interplay gives the typeface a dual character: distinct and expressive at display sizes, reliable and legible at text sizes. The OpenType feature set is thorough, covering small caps, multiple numeral styles, discretionary ligatures and case-sensitive forms.
Classification
Lembra is a humanist sans-serif with calligraphic influences that introduce subtle stroke modulation and organic qualities into otherwise clean, contemporary letterforms, placing it firmly in the humanist tradition.
