MegaMegaTypeType
A warm-toned geometric sans in nine weights and two optical sizes, designed by Sofia Mohr with a deliberately approachable character rooted in smooth, rounded letterforms.
About
Released in 2024 under the Fabio Haag Type foundry, Aconchego pairs a geometric structure with softer, humanist details to create a family suited to both editorial display and body text. The two optical styles — Regular and Text — are supported by contextual alternates, stylistic sets and a full suite of numeral variants. Latin script coverage extends to 209 languages.
Classification
Aconchego sits between geometric and humanist sans-serif traditions, with smooth, gently rounded strokes and optically tuned forms suggesting warmth rather than strict geometry. The 'Text' optical size and alternates indicate a design built for both display and extended reading.
