The monospaced version of ES Park: a Clarendon and American Typewriter slab on a fixed-width grid, in eight weights with italics.
About
Designed by Xavier Erni of Neo Neo and developed by Lisa Schultz, ES Park Mono sets the baroque curves and block serifs of ES Park against the strict rhythm of monospacing. Lighter weights carry less contrast than the heavy ones, so small text stays readable while the bold cuts land hard. Mini-serif terminals are the default, with a stylistic set for rounder slab terminals, and the eight weights from Thin to Extra Bold each have an italic; a variable font comes on request with the complete family.
Classification
The monospaced version of ES Park. Extraset class it as a Slab Serif (Mechanistic, Antique or Egyptian): thick block-like serifs a little narrower than usual, with curves drawn from Clarendon and American Typewriter, set here on a fixed-width grid.
