A fungal display serif whose letters swell, link and grow into each other.
About
Péridia is named after a puffy family of fungi and behaves like one: rounded strokes, bold proportions and tight spacing let the letters join up like threads of mycelium. Its capitals are full of character, the x-height shifts from letter to letter, and a set of ligatures fuses pairs into single shapes. Two styles, Light and Regular.
Classification
Organic display serif in Light and Regular with expressive capitals, a varying x-height and a set of linking ligatures. Personal and commercial licences on Gumroad, with a free trial limited to the basic glyphs.
