Developed as a counterpart to Licko's Mrs Eaves serif, Mr Eaves XL shares that family's characteristic low x-height and classical proportions. Two stylistic variants — Sans and Modern — are available, with the Sans leaning warmer and the Modern offering a more geometrically precise alternative. Narrow cuts of both expand the family's utility for space-constrained settings, with full italic accompaniment throughout.
Classification
A humanist sans designed as a companion to the serif Mrs Eaves, sharing its proportions and low x-height. The Modern variant introduces slightly more geometric construction, while the Sans remains warmer and more calligraphic in spirit.
