MegaMegaTypeType
A single-weight high-contrast display serif with sharp serifs, decorative ligatures and alternate characters aimed at premium branding and fashion editorial.
About
Soneburg pairs dramatic stroke contrast with refined proportions, producing the kind of sharp, luxurious presence typical of high-end fashion and packaging work. Distinctive ligatures and alternate characters introduce rhythmic variety, giving designers room to build expressive headline compositions from a single style. At present the family comprises one file, making it a focused headline tool rather than a versatile text system.
Classification
A high-contrast display serif with razor-sharp serifs and dramatic stroke variation, designed expressly for large-scale headline use rather than text setting, placing it firmly in the display category.
