Drawing directly from Zürich (Lettera, 1954), Katalog shortens the capitals and tightens the overall rhythm relative to its source, producing a geometry that reads as distinctly horizontal at large scale. Its rational Swiss structure absorbs influences from industrial signage and late-modernist lettering of the 1950s to 1970s, with an additional thread connecting it to the bold, functional aesthetic of 1980s sport graphics. Four weights from Light to Bold make it adaptable across publications and large-format contexts without losing the compact character that defines it.
