Kadiz specimen from Dotless type

A humanist serif in four upright weights, drawn from Andalusian architectural motifs and balancing soft curves against sharp strokes, with small caps and Cyrillic support across 285 languages.

About

Kadiz takes its formal cues from the ornate arches, courtyard gardens and arabesque patterns of Andalusian architecture, translating that interplay of complexity and harmony into functional lettershapes. Four weights run from Light to Bold, each with small caps for both Latin and Cyrillic scripts. Oldstyle, lining and small caps figure sets are included, and Cyrillic coverage extends to Serbian, Ukrainian, Russian, Bulgarian and Belarusian.

Classification

The mix of soft curves and sharp strokes, combined with references to Andalusian arabesque ornament, places this in the humanist serif tradition. The balance of precision and organic warmth distinguishes it from cooler transitional or rational serif models.
