About

Ritualist takes the wedge serifs of 19th-century display types and pushes them to infinitely sharp points, with curves that accelerate like the edge of a knife. Eighteen styles from Thin to Black with italics, plus a variable font, give it headline drama at the heavy end and usable subheads in the middle. Over 1,000 glyphs include full Vietnamese and IPA, and it was Steven Heller's Font of the Month in September 2025.

Classification

A high-contrast wedge serif after 19th-century faces such as De Vinne, sharpened to needle points and blade-like curves. Nine weights with italics and a variable version on weight and slant.
