Seance revives Midolle's Fracture Midolline and Gothique Brisée from his 1835 Spécimen des écritures modernes, preserving the deliberately strange and theatrical qualities of the originals. Tim Ripper has translated these standalone alphabets into functional typefaces while keeping their unsettling, campy character intact. Released through the Commercial Type Vault, its character set is limited and intended primarily for display use.
