MegaMegaTypeType
A coordinated newspaper type system of five families – serif, slab, sans, condensed and text – designed for the McClatchy newspaper group to unify 29 daily titles across print, mobile and web.
About
Drawn by Miguel Reyes, Greg Gazdowicz and Christian Schwartz in collaboration with Garcia Media, the collection provides a flexible editorial palette designed to balance consistency across a large newspaper group with individual character at each title. The five families cover the full range of editorial contexts, from display headlines to small-screen text, with a condensed sans handling tight column settings. Originally developed as a custom project, it is now available via Commercial Type's Vault.
Classification
