MegaMegaTypeType
A high-contrast sans-serif from Colophon that borrows stressed weighting and gestural forms from serif traditions, available in six weights with a Pro version offering additional OpenType features.
About
Weave sits between serif and sans-serif territory, using pronounced stroke contrast, soft curves and asymmetrical horizontal cut-offs to suggest gestural calligraphic influence without abandoning its sans-serif structure. Distinctive letterforms include a looping 'k', an animated 'a' and 'b', and sharp directional shifts in the 'f' and 'g'. Subtle ink traps and notches throughout the character set balance the expressive qualities with typographic precision.
Classification
A sans-serif with pronounced stroke contrast, stressed weighting and asymmetrical horizontal cut-offs that borrow from serif traditions without crossing into them. The combination of angular and smooth outlines places it in a high-contrast, expressive sans-serif category.
