Drawn from Richard Austin's 19th-century Scotch Roman — among the earliest typefaces conceived with newspaper printing in mind — Miller Headline translates that tradition into a size optimised for subheads, section titles and display settings. The design preserves the original's crisp serifs and refined stroke contrast, qualities that earned Austin's types immediate popularity in papers such as the Boston Globe. Eight styles span Light to Bold, each with a corresponding italic.
