A digital revival of Sjoerd H. de Roos's 1914-1916 Jenson-based typeface, created for Jean François van Royen's De Zilverdistel press and now expanded with roman, bold and italic.

About

De Roos and van Royen developed Zilvertype as a refinement of Hollandse Mediaeval, simplifying its structure and reducing its colour whilst keeping the Jenson model at its core. The result is lighter and more classically proportioned than its predecessor. The Pro digital version expands the original design with a full complement of roman, bold and italic fonts, each carrying over 400 glyphs.
