Tupelo Pro
Canada Type · Philip Bouwsma

Philip Bouwsma's connected script synthesising the handwriting characteristics of Elvis Presley in the lowercase and Abraham Lincoln in the uppercase.
About
Tupelo Pro is built on Bouwsma's research into the handwriting of Elvis Presley and Abraham Lincoln, which he found to share a common origin in the writing system both learned in their early schooling. The lowercase carries the slant, texture and flourish associated with Presley's hand, while the uppercase draws on Lincoln's more formal approach. The result is a fluid, organic connected script that fuses two historically distant sources into a single coherent design.
Classification
Fluid connected script by Philip Bouwsma; lowercase derived from the handwriting style of Elvis Presley, uppercase from that of Abraham Lincoln, both traced to a shared historical writing system.
