About
Teaspoon was first created in 2007 as a project-specific font by Haley Fiege before Canada Type completed it for general release in 2008. Its rounded, heavy forms occupy territory between poster lettering and casual display type, with a tone the foundry describes as ironic cute. The character set includes alternates and extends to Cyrillic and Greek alongside the Latin script.
