Canada Type · Philip Bouwsma

A connected script family in four variants, offering smooth and rough textures with extensive alternate characters drawn from Philip Bouwsma's calligraphic practice.
About
Styx draws on Philip Bouwsma's calligraphy background, completing work he had left unfinished since the mid-1990s. Each of the four fonts contains over 380 glyphs with alternates distributed throughout, and the family covers the majority of Latin languages. The smooth and rough pairings give designers a choice between clean and textured treatments within a consistent script structure.
