About
Steiner Special is drawn from a mid-1970s art nouveau display face, adjusted for better typographic behaviour without losing the exuberance of the original. It works in both mixed case and all-uppercase settings, and holds up well under distortion or transformation in design software. The foundry positions it for children's book covers, confectionery packaging and event posters.
