Robbins
Canada Type · Robby Woodard

A soft, wavy sans serif family by Robby Woodard that takes minimal grotesque letterforms and introduces rounded corners and gently undulating vertical strokes.
About
Robbins applies a warmth-oriented treatment to an otherwise spare sans serif skeleton, with the subtlety of the undulation varying enough to shift the tone from calm to energetic depending on the setting. The rounded corners and flowing verticals push the design towards the edge of spur serif territory without crossing over. It follows Woodard's earlier Quirkwood, which applied a similarly playful sensibility to the French Clarendon.
Classification
