Quirkwood revisits the reverse-stress Egyptienne/Italienne/French Clarendon tradition, a genre associated with 19th-century display and Western lettering. Designer Robby Woodard reconfigured the archetype's proportions and introduced new quirks to produce something distinctly his own. The foundry describes it as a spaghetti western with animated-cartoon energy.
