Normandia was designed by Alessandro Butti and published by Nebiolo in 1949, positioning itself as a calligraphically inflected take on the fat face rather than a purely mechanical one. The original metal version circulated in multiple sizes but fell out of use by the mid-1950s when Nebiolo declined to adapt its faces for cold type. This digital version revives that metal original.
