About

Neil Bold was originally published as a film typeface in 1966 and became closely associated with jazz record packaging, particularly at Blue Note, as well as science fiction cover design. This Pro version authentically revives the original letterforms while adding new small caps and biform variants not present in the source material. The character set exceeds 945 glyphs and includes programmed OpenType features for small caps and stylistic alternates.
