Nashra
Canada Type · Kourosh Beigpour

An Arabic typeface designed by Kourosh Beigpour to accompany the Vox geometric sans family, translating its monolinear squarish character into a right-to-left connected script across five weights.
About
Nashra was developed under Kourosh Beigpour's direction to carry Vox's soft monolinear geometry into Arabic, adapting malleable vertical metrics and connected right-to-left letterforms while preserving the parent family's structural DNA. Wide variants of Vox are represented in the Arabic, and keshidahs of different widths are provided across the range. Five weights from Light to Bold, five stylistic sets and an abundance of ligatures are included in all fonts.
Classification
Arabic companion to the Vox geometric sans family; five weights, right-to-left script, monolinear squarish forms with keshidahs and five stylistic sets.
