Mode is built around angles, chamfers and modular construction, originating from just two letterforms drawn for a logo before growing into a full character set. The family includes five weights, two widths, two sets of stylistic alternates – among them biform and unicase variants – and an expanded Latin character set. A three-axis variable font brings all of these axes together in a single file.
