A revival and expansion of the Rondo family, an informal script with 1940s Art Deco character drawn from Stefan Schlesinger's lettering.
About
Minuet Pro is rooted in the flowing advertising script Stefan Schlesinger used in his commercial work, though technical constraints at Lettergieterij Amsterdam required the original design to use unattached rather than connected letters. Schlesinger and Dick Dooijes completed the lowercase and began the uppercase before Schlesinger's internment in 1942; Dooijes finished the family. This digital release is a revival and expansion of that historical source.
