Lancelot Pro originated as an attractive set of capitals exploring the relationship between the drawing instrument and the intended letterform. Jim Rimmer designed it digitally in 1999, then unusually had it cast as metal type in three sizes in the early 2000s. The face reflects Rimmer's attachment to metal type craft even while working in digital media.
