Goluska

Rod McDonald designed Goluska in memory of Glenn Goluska, a Chicago-born typographer who worked at Coach House Press in Toronto before establishing his own letterpress printshop and later shifting to digital design work in Montreal. Goluska was active until his death from cancer in 2011, and was a recipient of an unspecified honour shortly before his passing. The typeface serves as a direct homage to his legacy in Canadian book culture.
