Dokument Pro is a thorough revision and enlargement of Jim Rimmer's original 2005 release, which he described as a sans serif in the vein of News Gothic that takes nothing from News Gothic. The family now spans six weights, each with an italic, and uses OpenType stylistic sets to let designers move the typeface along a spectrum from a hard gothic to a softer humanist feel. It is aimed at editorial, corporate and media typography that calls for directness over refinement.
