An art deco serif family originating as a bespoke headstone typeface for Canadian artist Alex Colville, expanded to four weights with broad glyph coverage.

About

The design began in 2015 as a commission for a headstone, with initial letterforms drawn from Colville's own hand on a Governor General medal he designed in the 1970s. The project grew into a four-font family ranging from Light to Bold, each with over 750 glyphs covering Pan-European languages, five figure sets, automatic fractions and ornaments. The overall aesthetic is strongly art deco.
