Captain Comic specimen from Canada Type

A two-weight comic lettering family loosely inspired by 1960s Star Trek comics, with interchangeable caps sets and broad European language support.

About

Captain Comic draws loosely on lettering from the Gold Key Star Trek series of 1967 onwards, though nearly all shapes were revised and rounded for a more current comic book feel. Each of the two weights comes with a corresponding italic, and each style carries two interchangeable sets of capitals. The fonts contain over 520 glyphs with Pan-European language coverage.

Classification

Loosely derived from uncredited lettering in the 1967 Gold Key Star Trek comics, revised and rounded for a contemporary comic book appearance.
