About
Cadmus Pro traces its origins to hand lettering artist Robert Foster, whose ATF type Perciles from the 1930s drew on early Greek inscriptional letterforms used in lettering magazines and advertising headings. Jim Rimmer produced a digital design from this source, and Canada Type has now remastered and substantially expanded it to over 1,130 glyphs. The family supports Latin languages including Vietnamese, as well as Cyrillic, Greek and Hebrew, with OpenType features including stylistic alternates, automatic fractions, ordinals and figure ranges for superiors and inferiors.
