About
Bunyan Pro draws together two related but distinct faces: Gill's Bunyan of 1934 and British Linotype's Pilgrim from the early 1950s, the latter being the most-used Gill text face in Britain through the 1980s. Unlike Gill's other serifs, Bunyan shows less influence from interwar ornamental trends and instead returns to older typographic principles. The Pro version unifies these two iterations into a single coherent digital family.
