Book Jacket Pro
Canada Type · Ursula Suess

A revised and expanded digital version of Ursula Suess's celebrated 1972 Typositor typeface, with added small caps, swashes and alternate forms.
About
Book Jacket was one of the most widely recognised typefaces of the phototypesetting era, designed by Ursula Suess and published in 1972. The Pro version, produced in collaboration between Suess and Canada Type, brings improved outlines and new OpenType functionality including built-in small caps, swashes, caps-to-small-caps and stylistic alternates. Class-based kerning and broad Latin language support are also included.
Classification
Originally a Typositor-era phototype design from 1972. The Pro version adds small caps, swashes and stylistic alternates, expanding it well beyond the original film type release.
