Babbage Pro treats the typewriter as a starting point rather than a constraint, layering in small caps, lining and oldstyle figures, multiple sets of swashed capitals and stylistic alternates. Each of the two fonts – regular and italic – contains more than 1,700 glyphs, covering more than 200 languages across three scripts. The result is a mono font with a pronounced personality that keeps its typewriter origins clearly visible.
