Adams
Canada Type · Dolf Overbeek

A digital revival and expansion of Dolf Overbeek's mid-century brush script faces, adding small caps and a new light weight to the original Amsterdam Type Foundry designs.
About
Adams is based on two related typefaces published by the Amsterdam Type Foundry in 1946 and 1954, converted here into a digital family with additional weights and small caps. The letterforms mimic the upright flat brush technique common in sign lettering of the 1930s and 1940s, with stroke angles calibrated to maintain consistent colour across sizes. The character set covers the majority of Latin languages.
Classification
Upright flat brush script with consistent stroke angles across sizes; revival of Dolf Overbeek's Studio and Flambard typefaces from the Amsterdam Type Foundry.
