A dot matrix display family originating from a rejected corporate identity proposal in 2000, released in six styles spanning narrow, wide and decorative matrix variants.

About

The design mimics the dot matrix characters printed on paper receipts, with letterforms built from carefully arranged pixels. Originally capital-only, the family was later completed with lowercase and a full character set, then extended with condensed cuts that push the dot matrix concept further. Six distinct styles include two ornamental matrix variants and two line-based cuts that dissect the dots into horizontal and vertical strokes.

Classification

Inspired by dot matrix printing on paper receipts, the letterforms are constructed from a grid of dots, giving the family a distinctly mechanical, pixel-based character. The narrow, wide and ornamental variants extend the concept into display territory.
