About
Espinoza studied the proportions and construction logic of the original signage at Garage Zevenhoven, a 1935 building by Dutch architect Dirk Stuurman, and translated its modular rhythm and equal character widths into a precise digital system. Stencil-like interruptions and a strict monospaced grid give each glyph a mechanical, architectural quality that works equally in horizontal and vertical compositions. The result connects a specific moment in Dutch commercial lettering with contemporary graphic applications including signage, editorial design and visual identity.
