Ramiro Espinoza studied ceramic lettering plates on several 1930s Rijkswaterstaat bridges in the Sassenheim area of the Netherlands, where geometric construction meets unusual proportions and vernacular irregularity. Rather than a literal reproduction, he refined the modular structure and expanded the character set while preserving the visual rhythm and architectural presence of the originals. The result suits posters, branding, signage and cultural projects with an avant-garde or experimental edge.
