Ramiro Espinoza studied the structural logic of the original early twentieth-century lettering and translated it into a contemporary digital typeface, refining spacing and expanding the character set while retaining the source's lightness and narrow proportions. The most distinctive feature is the substitution of lenticular shapes for conventional circular forms in rounded glyphs, which gives the design a sharp, rhythmically consistent texture. With a single style, it is aimed at fashion branding, cosmetics packaging, editorial headlines and cultural projects that call for an architectural, Deco-inflected voice.
