About
Brikka originates from lettering painted directly onto the brick facade of the Goudsche Machinale Garenspinnerij in Gouda, where the masonry itself acted as a fixed grid for shaping letterforms. Ramiro Espinoza studied the rhythm and proportions of the source inscription, then refined its spacing and consistency for digital use while preserving the constructed, architectural character. With wide proportions and a strong graphic presence, it suits posters, signage, branding and editorial contexts where material weight is an asset.
