About
Drawing on Kurvers' striking book cover lettering from the 1920s and 30s, Antonius captures the angular elegance and ornamental restraint of the period while functioning as a practical display face. Its narrow proportions and sculptural terminals make it well suited to editorial headlines, book jackets, packaging and identity work requiring a period sensibility. The revival goes beyond documentation, completing and systematising a typographic voice that remained fragmentary across Kurvers' original output.
