The design traces directly to a modular alphabet created by English designer-architect Edward Wright for the 1960 Milan publication Nuovi disegni per il mobile italiano, where letterforms were reduced to strict rectilinear components. Mastrangelo preserved that uncompromising geometry while expanding it into a full, usable character set for contemporary typographic applications. The result suits high-attitude contexts: posters, signage, logos, game titles and event graphics where a strong, angular presence is needed.
