Designed by Alberto Romanos and released in 2021, Bw Pose Nº 3 draws on the Didone tradition but tempers its drama with subdued quirky details, keeping the overall palette sophisticated rather than showy. Twelve styles run from Thin to ExtraBold, each with a matching true italic. Extended Latin support and OpenType features including stylistic alternates, old-style figures, ligatures and case-sensitive forms are included.
Classification
A modern Didone serif with high contrast between thick and thin strokes, characteristic of the genre. Traditional Didone shapes are softened with subtle quirky details that give the family a contemporary character.
