Gothic Scribble
Bonez Designz · Fie Clarke · 2015

A single-weight display face drawn rapidly with a flat-edge calligraphy pen, producing deliberately uneven strokes and a rough, gothic character.
About
Designed by Fie Clarke and released in May 2015, Gothic Scribble was hand-lettered with a flat-edge calligraphy pen, with letters drawn quickly to introduce natural variation in stroke width. The intentional scribbling technique lends the typeface an edgy, dark quality suited to editorial display and expressive headline use. It covers Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts across 411 glyphs.
Classification
A hand-lettered blackletter-influenced display face drawn with a flat-edge calligraphy pen, producing irregular stroke widths and an intentionally rough, scribbled quality that places it firmly in the display category rather than traditional blackletter.
