A sharp-edged neo-grotesque by Dmitry Goloub and Evgenia Izmailova that tests how far the genre can bend towards ugliness.
About
Polyplast has the steady rhythm of a workhorse grotesque, but its unusually pointed ovals give settings a bite. The character set is huge, covering European and Central Asian Latin including Vietnamese, the Cyrillic languages of Europe, Central Asia and Russia, and polytonic Greek. Extras include several figure styles, arrows and plastic recycling symbols.
Classification
A metamodern neo-grotesque with an even rhythm and unusually sharp ovals, in nine weights plus a variable font.
