BTC Lewallen takes its proportions and weight from hand-painted masonry lettering, preserving the no-nonsense character of commercial sign-painting traditions. With only one weight and no italic, it is a deliberately limited tool, built for short-burst typesetting where visual weight does the work. Its strength lies in its directness rather than any formal sophistication.
