A chunky Block-style wood type from 1930s Italy in wide and condensed widths, each worn or clean.
About
Wood Heinz looks like the German Block face but came from Xilografia di Verona. The No.4 is wide, the No.2 condensed, and both share a stem weight so they mix as wood type once did. Regular cuts carry four rotating printed-look variants; New cuts are clean; Deco Caps add flourish to No.2.
Classification
Heavy rounded block letters in the manner of the German Block typeface, from 1930s Italian wood type. Two widths, each in worn and clean cuts.
